Netflix Speeds Up Shipping of Movies
Netflix recently announced a revision to its shipping process that will help us all get our movies faster. Everyone has a “local shipping center” that is dependent upon their proximity to one of the 55 shipping centers across the US.
Now, if your first choice is not available in your local shipping center, we immediately send the next locally available movie in your Queue, and whenever possible, we also send your first choice from another part of the country.
Basically, you’ll get a bonus movie if your next choice is not available. For more details, see the official word from Netflix.

In addition to the previously mentioned LG BD300, the Samsung BD-P2500 and BD-P2550 Blu-ray disc players now support Netflix HD streaming.

The BD-P2550 offers the ability to stream Pandora radio, which is an awesome feature for anyone planning to integrate their Blu-ray player into a home theater system.
LG BD-300 Network Blu-ray Player
The LG BD-300 Network Blu-ray Player is a fully functioning Blu-ray player that plays Blu-ray Discs and standard DVDs, plus it offers instant access to Netflix catalog of over 12,000 movies and TV episodes. The LG BD300 now offers the ability to stream HD video through the Netflix streaming feature. The BD-300 also supports 7.1-channel surround sound.
Some users are even reporting that the video streaming quality they get in HD is on par with their 1080p Blu-ray. Needless to say, Netflix has forged some strong partnerships here that are truly ushering in the next generation of home entertainment.
